HK Rheintechnik - innovative, high-quality products for animal birthing and breeding

Albert und Ulli Kerbl mit innovativen Produkten der Geburtshilfe von Rheintechnik

The hour of birth

Albert Kerbl, then a student at an agricultural school, recognised the enormous potential of HK Rheintechnik calf pullers as early as 1967 and secured the resale rights. This tool was to become the foundation for unprecedented business success.

Kerbl returned to its roots in 2019 and took over the production of the previously exclusively sold products, the associated patents and ‘Rheintechnik’ and ‘HK’ trademarks.

More than 1.5 million calf pullers have been sold worldwide since Hermann Kaspar developed the HK Rheintechnik calf pullers more than 50 years ago. The Rheintechnik hallmark together with the HK bull has become a byword for sophisticated technology and impeccably processed, high-quality materials. Registered patents protect Rheintechnik’s innovative edge. Kerbl will carry on making all Rheintechnik products to the same high standard even after the takeover, so that livestock owners, breeders and vets can still enjoy innovative, highquality products made in Germany.

The air-one ultrasound inhaler product line and hippomed brand belong to Albert Kerbl GmbH since 2022.

Further information can be found in the FAQ section or at  www.kerbl.com/en/hippomed .
“Products from Rheintechnik are the cornerstone of our success. Our father and grandfather Isidor Kerbl saved the lives of many calves with the HK calf puller, which was the first product to be sold by Albert Kerbl GmbH. We are therefore very proud that our company can now continue writing this success story.”

CEOs of Albert Kerbl GmbH

The Rheintechnik and Kerbl companies share a joint history going back more than 30 years. During this time, I have got to know and appreciate Albert Kerbl and more lately his son, Ulli, personally. Therefore, given the lack of a successor, it wasn’t a difficult decision to hand these divisions of the company to Albert Kerbl GmbH. I am convinced that Albert and Ulli Kerbl will successfully continue the Rheintechnik company philosophy, and I wish them good fortune always.”
