Daylight-dependent control: The light sensor included in the delivery automatically adjusts the opening and closing times of the chicken flap to the daylight. Once darkness falls, the hens are thus protected from nocturnal predators, and are able to leave the coop early in the morning.
Integrated safety functions: The light sensor’s time-delayed reaction to signals prevents unintended opening during lightning flashes, etc. If there is resistance because of an animal in the flap area, the closing process is stopped automatically, and then continued. If there is an overload, the motor switches off automatically.
Practical and flexible to use: The automatic chicken door functions without a power connection. The controller is operated with batteries (4 x AA Mignon, not included in delivery). The light sensor has a cable length of 1 m, and so the controller can be installed in the protection of the interior.
Suitable for all conventional chicken doors: The controller is suitable for all conventional chicken doors and sliders used in poultry coops. Doors with a weight between 0.5 kg and 2.5 kg can be installed.
Manual control possible: By means of a separately available optional button (item number 70565), manual control is also possible for opening or closing the door by hand at any time.
