Following last year's award as Bayerns Best 50, Albert Kerbl GmbH has now also been awarded the "Bayerischer Mittelstandspreis".Since 2007, this prize has been sponsored by the Bavarian Ministry of Economic Affairs. This year, prizes under the patronage of the President of the Bavarian Parliament, Ilse Aigner, and the Bavarian Minister of State for Economic Affairs, Hubert Aiwanger, are awarded to medium-sized companies that serve as role models and examples as pillars of society.
The award winners are selected according to criteria, such as future viability, innovation, robustness and resilience, sustainability and responsibility, market success, customer orientation and attractiveness.
"We fully stand for these values - they completely reflect our position as a success-oriented, cooperative and responsible family business. We are extremely pleased about receiving this great award!", says company founder and managing director Albert Kerbl.
Managing Director Ulli Kerbl added: "The "Bayerischer Mittelstandspreis" is also very important to us because the jury looks in depth and after a demanding evaluation process, only nominates a few companies and ultimately recognises them as worthy of the award. After the exciting nomination as a finalist, the tension was high, so we were able to enjoy the award ceremony all the more after we were announced as the winner."
